The new Alpina Pro Classic boot has many of the features of their Elite 3.0 classic boots and adds some evolutionary design features that might just trickle upward to the Elite boots. A wee bit more weight than the Elite, the Pro adds more control and stability through the use of a carbon infused ankle support; this isn’t just an adoption from the Alpina skate boots, this is a classic specific and anatomically sophisticated design. Add to that the Pebax and carbon sole for a supple forward flex with outstanding lateral stiffness. And then there is the Active Grip technology, a new binding interface that can potentially increase force during the kick phase.
